Telegram Forex Signals: What a Winning Screenshot Doesn’t Tell You
A Telegram notification appears: “Take profit hit.” Then another. Scroll through the channel and it can look like almost every trade wins.
But a collection of winning screenshots doesn’t answer the question that matters: what happened to someone who followed the full set of signals?
Before judging a forex signal channel, it helps to separate the results it promotes from the record you can actually check.
What the published research found
ForexSignals.io published an analysis covering 10,285 signals from 39 Telegram channels over the year ending 18 October 2026.
For the 4,313 signals with a reported outcome, the channels claimed a 95% win rate. The article’s price-based checks put that figure at 62.8%.
It also reported that 17 of the 27 channels with enough measurable results lost money under its testing assumptions. Those assumptions included closing trades at the first target and deducting a typical spread.

The sample was not random, and the findings should not be treated as a verdict on every Telegram channel. ForexSignals.io also operates its own signals service, so it has a commercial interest in the subject.
Why the size of each win matters
Consider a simplified example.
A strategy wins eight trades, making £10 each time. It loses twice, losing £50 each time.
That is an 80% win rate—but an overall loss of £20 before trading costs.
This is why a percentage alone tells you very little. You also need to know the average gain, the average loss and whether the stated results reflect achievable execution.
Ask for a record you can follow
A useful performance record should let you work through the trades in order. You should be able to understand the entry conditions, the exit rules and how the final result was calculated.
If a channel uses several targets, ask how it allocates the position between them. Taking some profit at the first target and holding the rest is different from closing everything immediately.
The strongest question isn’t “How many winners did you post this week?”
It is: “Can I reproduce your calculation from the original trade instructions?”
